Terms of Use

Using the site

The Dles is free to use for personal, non-commercial play, as often as you like. Please do not copy the site, scrape it, or try to disrupt it. You are responsible for the device and connection you use to play.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, to attack or overload it, or to pass our puzzles and pages off as your own. If you are not sure whether something is allowed, ask us first at contact@thedles.net. Do not use automated tools to play the games or to collect puzzles and answers in bulk.

Our content

The games, puzzles, text and artwork on this site are ours, or are made by our own code. You may share a puzzle link or your result text with anyone, and a link to any page on the site is always welcome.

Third-party names and trademarks

Game names such as Pips, Queens, Tango, Zip, Colorfle, Waffle, Connections, Betweenle, Size It Up, Tradle, Factle, Costcodle and Colordle, and the names of their original publishers, belong to their owners. They appear here only to say which kind of puzzle a page is about. This site is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. See the disclaimer.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to sites we do not run, such as the sources of our data. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they contain or how they handle your information.

No warranty

The site and its games are provided as they are, without any warranty. We do not promise that every puzzle is solvable in the way you expect, that the site will always be available, or that your saved progress will never be lost: it lives in your browser and can be cleared at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, The Dles and the people who run it are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or from not being able to use it, including lost progress, streaks or best times. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have by law that cannot be limited.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms or the site at any time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it.
